Summary

This study tested a new weekly dosing schedule of a drug called carfilzomib, combined with standard medications, for older adults newly diagnosed with multiple myeloma. The main goals were to find the safest, most effective dose and to see how well the treatment controlled the cancer. It involved 32 participants and was designed to gather information to guide future research.
