First seen Feb 28, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 8 times

Summary

This study tests a program called WeCan-Rural for breast cancer survivors living in rural areas. The program aims to help them eat better, be more active, and manage their weight to lower their risk of heart disease. About 40 women who finished cancer treatment in the last 5 years will join weekly video sessions with a therapist or receive standard health info. Researchers will check if the program is easy to follow and helps improve weight, blood pressure, and cholesterol.
