Web-Based lifestyle and relaxation training shows promise for easing PMS symptoms
NCT ID NCT06705660
First seen Jun 26, 2026 · Last updated Jun 26, 2026
Summary
This study tested whether web-based lifestyle training and progressive relaxation exercises could reduce symptoms of premenstrual syndrome (PMS) in women aged 18-35. Sixty-six women were split into three groups: one received lifestyle training, one received relaxation training, and one had no training. Both interventions were delivered online over two menstrual cycles, with follow-up one month later. The goal was to see if these simple, at-home approaches could improve PMS symptoms, anxiety, quality of life, and daily functioning.
