Online program aims to help people cope with chronic pain and substance use
NCT ID NCT06366633
Summary
This small pilot study tested whether an online self-help program is practical and acceptable for adults with chronic, non-injury related arm or hand pain who also engage in risky substance use. Five participants tried a 4-session video program teaching mind-body skills, pain coping strategies, and information on the link between pain and substance use. The main goal was to gather feedback to improve the program and study methods for future, larger tests.
