First seen Apr 05, 2026 · Last updated May 08, 2026 · Updated 5 times
Summary
This study will test a wearable grasping neuroprosthesis—a device that uses mild electrical stimulation to help open the hand—in two stroke survivors who have trouble extending their fingers. Participants will use the device at home for one year, with regular check-ins to see if it improves daily activities and quality of life. The goal is to understand if long-term home use is practical and beneficial.
