New wearable device aims to help people relearn how to swallow
NCT ID NCT06638944
Summary
This study is testing a new wearable sensor that provides feedback during swallowing exercises. It aims to see if this device helps people with swallowing difficulties after a stroke or from Parkinson's disease improve more than standard therapy alone. The research will also compare whether the therapy works as well when done at home via video call as it does in a clinic.
