Smartwatch trial aims to silence nightmares for veterans
NCT ID NCT07288593
Summary
This study is testing whether a smartwatch called NightWare can improve sleep for current and former military members who have trouble sleeping, nightmares, PTSD, or a history of brain injury. The watch detects signs of nighttime stress and delivers gentle vibrations to try to calm the body's 'fight-or-flight' response. Researchers will measure changes in sleep quality, stress levels, and daytime function over a 30-day period.
