Summary

This study tested whether a nursing care program based on Watson's Human Caring Theory could help reduce fear of childbirth and improve the overall birth experience. Thirty women with uncomplicated vaginal births either received this special nursing care or routine care. Results were measured using questionnaires about fear and birth experience. The goal was to see if a more caring, supportive approach during labor makes a difference.
