First seen Apr 21, 2026 · Last updated Jun 13, 2026 · Updated 11 times
Summary
This study tested whether letting patients watch their own ACL repair surgery on a live video feed helps them feel less afraid of moving after the operation. 65 adults having ACL reconstruction under spinal anesthesia either watched their surgery or received standard care. The goal was to see if this simple approach reduces fear of re-injury and improves recovery.
