First seen Apr 17, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 3 times

Summary

This study is testing whether step counts from wearable activity trackers can help predict when cancer patients undergoing radiation therapy might need to go to the emergency room or be hospitalized. Researchers will collect step data from 260 adults with cancer before, during, and after treatment. The goal is to build a model that alerts doctors early so they can intervene and prevent urgent care visits.
