NCT ID NCT05864157
First seen Nov 06, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 29 times
Summary
This study tests whether training with a metronome—using slow beats on a treadmill and fast beats while walking on the ground—can improve how people with Parkinson's disease walk. Over 12 one-hour sessions, 45 participants will practice stepping to different speeds and have their walking tested before and after training, including brain scans. The goal is to help people take larger, faster steps and improve their overall mobility.
