Walking and thinking: a new hope for Alzheimer's patients?

NCT ID NCT06731049

First seen Apr 04, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 8 times

Summary

This study tests whether walking on a treadmill while doing a thinking task (like counting or naming) improves movement and memory more than just walking alone. It involves 46 people with early-to-mid Alzheimer's who can already walk. The goal is to see if this combined training makes daily activities easier and boosts brain function.
