Summary
This study is testing whether a 6-month home-based walking program can improve metabolic health markers like blood sugar and cholesterol in people with and without HIV. Participants will gradually increase their daily steps to about 10,000, tracked with an activity monitor. The goal is to see if this lifestyle change helps control metabolic syndrome, a cluster of conditions that increase heart disease and diabetes risk.
