Can a fitness tracker speed up recovery from lung cancer surgery?
NCT ID NCT04783168
Summary
This study is testing if using a Fitbit to track and encourage walking after lung cancer surgery helps patients recover better. Researchers want to see if patients who walk more have fewer complications and a better quality of life after their operation. The study will compare three groups: one with standard advice, one with a Fitbit to track steps, and one with a Fitbit that also gives daily walking goals and reminders.
