Scientists link walking trouble to early Alzheimer's signs
NCT ID NCT06484244
Summary
This study aims to understand how the ability to adjust walking patterns relates to memory problems in older adults. Researchers will observe 10 participants with mild cognitive impairment or Alzheimer's disease, using a special treadmill to test walking adaptation. The goal is to learn if walking difficulties could be an early indicator of cognitive decline and fall risk.
