First human test for new drug VV261 begins

Summary
This is the first study in people for a new drug called VV261. Its main purpose is to check the safety and see how the body absorbs and eliminates the drug. The study will enroll 58 healthy volunteers in China who will receive a single dose of either the drug or a placebo. Researchers will measure drug levels in the blood and monitor for any side effects.
