New program aims to stop blood clots in cancer patients

Summary
This study tests a modified clinical program to help doctors better prevent blood clots (VTE) in cancer patients starting treatment. About 25 patients and their doctors will take part. The program includes education for doctors and a structured risk assessment to decide if blood-thinning medication is needed. The goal is to see if this approach improves how often patients get the right prevention care.
