New heart catheter aims to zap dangerous rhythms safely
NCT ID NCT05543798
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tests a new catheter (Vision-MR 2.0) to treat ventricular tachycardia, a fast, dangerous heart rhythm, in people with ischemic heart disease. About 64 adults will undergo a procedure to burn small areas of heart tissue causing the abnormal rhythm. The goal is to stop the arrhythmia without serious side effects, but ongoing medication or future episodes may still occur.
