New pill targets 'Undruggable' cancer mutation in major trial

Summary
This early-stage study is testing a new oral drug called VS-7375, which is designed to block a specific cancer-driving mutation known as KRAS G12D. Researchers will give the drug alone and in combination with other cancer therapies to adults with advanced solid tumors, including pancreatic, lung, and colorectal cancers, that have this mutation. The main goals are to find safe doses and see if the treatments can shrink tumors and help patients live longer.
