New pill targets hard-to-treat KRAS G12D cancers in early trial

Summary
This study tests a new oral drug, VS-7375, in people with advanced solid tumors (like pancreatic, lung, or colorectal cancer) that have a specific KRAS G12D mutation. The trial will first find the safest dose, then check if the drug shrinks tumors when used alone or with other cancer treatments. About 295 adults are expected to join.
