Scientists test if VR headsets can make therapy exercises more real
NCT ID NCT07171736
Summary
This study is testing whether using virtual reality (VR) makes a specific therapy exercise more effective than just using imagination. Healthy student volunteers will try both methods—one where they imagine talking to different parts of themselves, and one where they use a VR headset to see and interact with virtual characters representing those parts. Researchers will measure how people feel before and after each exercise and ask for their feedback to see which approach works better, especially for those who find it hard to imagine things.
