VR headsets vs. hypnosis: new study aims to ease Women's procedure pain
NCT ID NCT07173231
Summary
This pilot study is testing whether using virtual reality (VR) or a combination of VR and hypnosis can help reduce pain and anxiety for women undergoing a diagnostic hysteroscopy. The study will compare these non-drug approaches to standard care in 45 participants. The main goals are to see if these methods are practical and acceptable to use in a clinic and to gather initial data on how well they work.
