VR goggles train future nurses to feel Patients' fears

NCT ID NCT07573384

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study looks at whether showing nursing students a video of a patient getting ready for surgery—through virtual reality goggles—can help them understand and share the patient's feelings. About 50 students will take part, and their empathy levels will be measured using standard questionnaires. The goal is to see if this kind of training can make nurses more caring and aware of what patients go through.
