Virtual reality steps in to help brain injury patients walk without fear

NCT ID NCT05721209

Summary

This small pilot study is testing whether adding virtual reality to treadmill training is a practical way to help people with traumatic brain injury. Researchers want to see if this approach can improve walking, balance, and confidence while reducing the fear of falling. The study will enroll 20 adults who are at least one year past their injury and have ongoing balance problems.
