VR boosts nurse CPR skills in new study

NCT ID NCT07167303

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 25, 2026 · Updated 24 times

Summary

This study tested whether virtual reality (VR) training helps nurses learn CPR better than traditional methods. Sixty nurses from emergency and intensive care units were split into two groups: one practiced CPR using a VR headset, the other used standard training. Their knowledge was tested before, right after, and two weeks later. The goal was to see if VR makes learning more effective and enjoyable.
