VR headsets tame teen aggression in shocking new trial

NCT ID NCT07484919

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study tests whether adding virtual reality (VR) to a standard anger management program helps young offenders (ages 12-18) reduce aggressive behavior more than the program alone or usual care. Participants attend four weekly sessions, wear a chest band and brain-activity headset during VR, and give saliva samples to measure stress hormones. The goal is to see if VR improves emotional control and lowers real-world aggression.
