Virtual reality headsets tested as new treatment for chronic neck pain
NCT ID NCT03987334
Summary
This study is testing whether adding virtual reality (VR) to standard neck exercises helps people with chronic neck pain or whiplash feel better. 72 participants will do rehab exercises twice a week for six weeks, with half using a VR headset and half doing the same exercises without it. Researchers will measure changes in pain, neck movement, and daily function to see if VR makes the treatment more effective.
