Virtual reality at home aims to restore hand movement for MS patients

NCT ID NCT05713890

Summary

This study is testing a home-based virtual reality (VR) therapy program designed to improve hand and arm function in people with multiple sclerosis (MS). Sixty participants will use VR headsets at home for 15 sessions over three weeks, with one group watching and practicing hand movements and another watching neutral scenes. Researchers will measure changes in hand dexterity, strength, and brain activity to see if this approach helps.
