Virtual reality offers new hope for easing cancer pain
NCT ID NCT07318519
Summary
This study is developing and testing a new virtual reality (VR) device designed to help people manage chronic cancer pain. The VR experience uses principles from cognitive behavioral therapy to distract from pain and lower pain sensations. Researchers will compare the VR device to a standard tablet video to see if it's practical, safe, and helpful for patients.
