Summary

This study tested whether using virtual reality (VR) headsets for therapy sessions could help reduce symptoms of anxiety and depression. It involved 40 young people, aged 12 to 25, who were not taking medication for their condition. Participants tried five weekly VR sessions that included relaxation exercises and coping skills, all supervised by a mental health professional.
