Summary
This study tested whether virtual reality (VR) sessions could help ease anxiety and depression in 40 people aged 12 to 25 who chose not to take medication. Participants wore VR headsets for five weekly sessions that included relaxation exercises, breathing techniques, and coping strategies. Researchers measured symptoms before and after the program and found that VR therapy was safe, well-tolerated, and led to improvements in mood and anxiety levels.
