Scientists test if VR gaming poses hidden seizure danger

NCT ID NCT07451093

Summary

This study aims to find out if using virtual reality (VR) headsets increases the risk of seizures in teens and adults with epilepsy. Researchers will measure brain activity in 40 participants while they use a VR headset in different ways: with it off, with it on but no hand controllers, and with it on while using hand controllers. The goal is to understand the safety of VR technology for people with this condition.
