First seen Apr 02, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 8 times
Summary
This study tests a new system that combines virtual reality with a walking robot to help people who have had a stroke walk with a more natural, balanced stride. The robot gives real-time feedback to encourage using the weaker leg more. Researchers will compare 15 stroke survivors and 15 healthy adults during a single training session to see if the approach improves step symmetry and leg strength.
