First seen Mar 14, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 7 times

Summary

This study tests if a 10-minute virtual reality (VR) relaxation session can lower stress in healthcare workers before they enter the operating room. About 80 volunteers will either use VR or sit in a quiet room, and their heart rate and stress levels will be measured. The goal is to find a simple, effective way to help staff feel calmer and more focused before surgery.
