NCT ID NCT07482722

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study tests whether a virtual reality program can help adults who have been in the intensive care unit (ICU) feel less stressed and in less pain after moving to a regular hospital room. About 150 participants will either get standard care or extra VR sessions designed to relax and orient them. Researchers will measure heart rate, pain, stress, and whether anyone needs to return to the ICU within a week.
