Scientists test VR meditation and brain zaps to calm anxiety

NCT ID NCT07299916

Summary

This study is testing whether a two-week program combining gentle, non-invasive brain stimulation with immersive virtual reality meditation can help reduce anxiety. The program involves 12 short sessions over two weeks. Researchers will compare the effects on anxiety levels to a sham (inactive) treatment group to see if the combination is helpful and well-tolerated.
