First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 30 times
Summary
This study tests whether using virtual reality (VR) or a combination of hypnosis and VR can help women feel less pain and anxiety during a diagnostic hysteroscopy, a procedure to look inside the uterus. About 45 women will be randomly assigned to receive standard care, VR, or hypnosis-VR during the procedure. The goal is to see if these non-drug approaches are feasible and acceptable in a clinic setting.
