Virtual reality brings home to stroke rehab: new trial tests arm recovery

Summary
This study tests whether virtual reality (VR) training that looks like a real home can help stroke survivors improve arm and hand function. About 86 people who had a stroke 1 to 6 months ago will be split into three groups: VR-based task training, standard task training, or usual occupational therapy. Researchers will measure arm movement, grip strength, and daily living skills, and also use brain scans to see how the training affects brain activity.
