Doctors to wear VR goggles during colonoscopy in new safety test

NCT ID NCT07220174

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study tests whether a virtual reality headset (Apple Vision Pro) is safe and easy for doctors to use during routine colon cancer screening. Instead of looking at a standard screen, the doctor will see the live video inside the headset. About 15 patients and a few experienced doctors will take part to see if this new setup works well and doesn't cause problems.
