Can VR meditation ease hospital pain? new study seeks answers

Summary

This study tests whether a single virtual reality (VR) guided meditation session can lower pain and anxiety in hospitalized adults. About 38 participants with moderate to severe pain will use a VR headset for a guided meditation. Researchers will measure changes in pain and anxiety scores before and after the session to see if this approach is helpful and easy to use.
