Virtual reality goggles ease pain and fear during cervical biopsy

This study tested whether using virtual reality during a colposcopic biopsy could lower pain and anxiety. Sixty women were randomly assigned to either wear VR goggles or receive standard care. Researchers measured pain with a visual scale and anxiety with a questionnaire. The goal was to see if a simple, drug-free distraction could make the procedure more comfortable.
