Could a VR headset spot a brain injury? new study aims to find out

NCT ID NCT07474987

Summary

This study is testing whether a special virtual reality (VR) headset can help doctors detect and monitor traumatic brain injuries (like concussions). The device shines safe, colored lights into the eyes and uses a camera to measure how the pupils react. Researchers will compare the pupil responses of 150 people, including healthy adults, soldiers with brain injuries, and soldiers with other injuries.
