VR goggles could make C-Sections less stressful
NCT ID NCT07247643
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tests whether wearing virtual reality glasses that show nature videos during a planned C-section can help women feel less stressed, more comfortable, and more satisfied with their birth experience. About 96 women having a repeat C-section under spinal anesthesia will take part, with half using the VR glasses and half receiving standard care. The goal is to see if this simple, drug-free distraction can improve recovery and overall satisfaction.
