Does more liquid mean less pain? new study tests nerve block volumes after C-Section
NCT ID NCT07616180
First seen Jun 11, 2026 · Last updated Jun 15, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study looks at women having planned C-sections to see if using a larger volume of the same amount of painkiller (bupivacaine) in a nerve block helps reduce pain and the need for extra morphine. 50 participants will receive one of two volumes, and their pain and morphine use will be tracked. The goal is to find a safer, more effective way to manage post-surgery pain.
