Summary
This study tested a package of 11 evidence-based maternity practices to reduce unnecessary C-sections at a semi-urban hospital in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Over 2,400 women admitted for delivery were included. The practices included better counseling, monitoring, and criteria for inducing labor or performing C-sections.
