First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tests whether playing a virtual reality game called Electrical Maze can improve sustained attention in neurodivergent children aged 9 to 18, including those with autism, ADHD, or learning differences. Over 6 weeks, 40 participants will play the VR game twice a week for 25 minutes each session. Researchers will measure changes in attention using eye-tracking and a standard attention test.

Virtual reality game (Electrical Maze)
What this could lead to
If it works, this could offer a fun, non-drug way to help neurodivergent children improve their focus and attention skills.
What could go wrong
This is a small, early-stage study with only 40 participants and no control group, so results may not apply widely. The VR game may not lead to lasting improvements.
