Summary
This Mayo Clinic study is testing whether using virtual reality (VR) can help reduce anxiety, depression, and emotional distress in patients receiving palliative care. It involves about 20 adult patients with a terminal illness who are expected to live a year or less. The research aims to see if immersive VR experiences can improve their emotional well-being.
