First seen Apr 18, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study tested a 360° virtual reality (VR) app to help first-year medical students prepare for their first cadaver dissection. 43 students either used the VR app or got traditional preparation. The goal was to see if VR could lower anxiety and improve emotional readiness. Results suggest VR can make this tough learning experience less stressful.
