VR headsets could be the new painkiller for knee surgery recovery
NCT ID NCT07177573
Summary
This study is testing if watching a relaxing nature video through a virtual reality headset can help people feel less pain and anxiety during their physical therapy after a knee replacement. Researchers will compare 102 patients who use VR during their therapy to those who receive standard care. The goal is to see if this simple, drug-free distraction can make recovery more comfortable.
