NCT ID NCT07202468
First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 26 times
Summary
This study looks at whether watching virtual reality videos (like an aquarium or kaleidoscope) can help children aged 7 to 12 feel less pain and fear when getting an IV. About 150 children having day surgery will be split into three groups: two that watch different VR videos during the procedure, and one that gets standard care. Researchers will measure pain, fear, and things like heart rate to see if VR helps make the experience easier.
