Virtual reality headsets tested as new tool for fibromyalgia pain
NCT ID NCT07202572
Summary
This Mayo Clinic study is testing whether a virtual reality meditation program can help reduce the overall impact of fibromyalgia symptoms. Forty adults with fibromyalgia will try both an active VR meditation program and a sham (fake) VR experience to see which one helps them feel better. The goal is to see if VR could become a new, non-drug option for managing this chronic pain condition.
